Privacy Policy

Growth Mindset Parenting is operated by Sean Kane. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this site and how it is used.

Information collected

Email address. If you subscribe to the Saturday letter, your email address is stored by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any letter. Kit's privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and what type of device is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

How information is used

Email addresses are used only to send the Saturday letter and occasional announcements about new content or resources. Analytics data is used to understand what content is most useful and to improve the site over time. We never sell your email address or contact information. Some state privacy laws use a broad definition of “sale” that includes sharing browsing activity with advertising platforms — see Cookies below for exactly what is shared and how to turn it off.

Cookies

This site uses cookies — small files your browser stores — for three things:

Understanding the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell repeat visitors apart and show which pages get read.

Remembering where you came from. If you arrive through a link shared on social media or in an email, a cookie remembers that link so we know which posts are actually helping people find us.

Advertising. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok place cookies so we can show ads to people who have already visited this site, and see whether those ads led anywhere. These companies may use that information for their own advertising purposes as described in their privacy policies.

You can turn off ad tracking in your Meta ad preferences, read TikTok's privacy policy, or block cookies in your browser. Blocking them will not break anything on this site.
